Solo Signal Marketing (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates solosignalmarketing.com. This policy explains what information the site collects, why, where it goes and how long it’s kept.
Who we are
Solo Signal Marketing is operated by Canvas Works Studio LLC, led by Lucas Ledbetter. You can reach us through our contact form.
What the site collects
When you browse the site: nothing about you beyond what every website receives. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and the technical details of each request (browser type, the page asked for) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, and keeps its request logs for a few days. We don’t use analytics, advertising pixels, tracking cookies or chat widgets, and the site’s fonts and images come from the site itself, so no other company learns of your visit.
Cookies: the site sets none. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie when it has to tell people from automated traffic. If you choose Pause motion, your browser remembers that choice on your own device; it is never sent to us.
When you send the contact form: your name, work email and company, your answers to the form’s two questions, and the page you sent it from. The inquiry is filed in our records, kept in Airtable, and emailed to us so we can write back. If you’re already in our records, we connect the inquiry to you there. Sending the form never adds you to our mailing list.
When you subscribe to our newsletter (“The Solo Signal”): your email address and the page you subscribed from, stored and processed by our email provider, Kit. Kit also records whether our emails are opened and their links clicked. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email we send.
If you become a client: what you share during an engagement is covered by the confidentiality terms of your agreement with us.
How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Respond to your inquiry
- Send the newsletter, if you’ve subscribed
- Keep the site running and secure, including limiting how often a form can be sent from one place, which uses a one-way scrambled form of your IP address that isn’t kept
- Meet our legal and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising.
Who we share information with
- Cloudflare, which hosts and protects the site and briefly holds a form you send if Kit or Airtable can’t be reached, for up to fourteen days, until it can be delivered.
- Airtable, where inquiries are kept.
- Kit, if you subscribe, to send you the newsletter and record signups, opens and clicks.
- Google Workspace, our business email, which carries the inquiry email and any messages between us.
We don’t share your information with anyone else except as required by law.
How long we keep it
- Inquiries: two years after our last contact, unless you become a client, when your agreement’s terms apply.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Kit then keeps a record that you unsubscribed, so you aren’t emailed again; ask, and we’ll delete it.
- Cloudflare’s request logs: a few days.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Correct it
- Delete it, where we’re not legally required to keep it
- Stop sending you email
To ask, use the contact form.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the most recent revision.
